Action PhotographsThe action photography project required the photography students to take stop action and blur action pictures with their cameras. Stop action is when the moving subject is in focus with no blur. Stop action requires a fast shutter sppeed to prevent any blur. Blur action is when the moving subject has blur or looks as if it was smudged and it requires a slow shutter speed to capture the blur in the motion. To take the action photos, we had to use manual mode and shutter priority mode. In manual mode, the camera's aperature, shutter speed, and ISO are required to be set by the photographer. Then, shutter speed priority mode allows one to only have to set the ISO based on the lighting conditions and the shutter speed, while the aperature automatically adjusts.
