The Book of BuildingsIn addition to creating a 123 Book, the class had to create an open-roll book focusing on the theme of their choice. For my theme, I focused on the older and more dilapidated buildings of Downtown Cleveland. I chose the buildings as my theme because I wanted to showcase the attention to detail that was put into the original buildings of the city. In order to capture many different images of the same type of subject, I manipulated perspective and the composition of the images. After I collected all of my images, I changed the pictures to black and white because of the high contrast shown in each of the pictures. Additionally, I wanted the pictures to have the aged mood that a black and white picture conveys. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the overall look of "The Book of Buildings".
