Contact JoinersIn the contact joiner project, the students took an assigned number of photagraphs which, all together, would make up a full subject or scenery. Then, once on our computers, we made contact sheets of all of the pictures together and aligned in order to make up the subject. This project was very difficult because we shot images from left to right, trying to go back to the left side to do the next row, and trying to guess where the next image should be shot. This project involved a lot of planning. Also, it made us focus on lighting and the overall subject. We also were supposed to make the images interesting.

The last picture demonstrates a twisted joiner. The twisted joiner part of the project was included in order to practice taking multiple photographs of a single objects and putting an extra element in the photograph. The photographer should try to align each photograph so it still makes up the general shape. In my picture, I added a keyboard several times to create repetition and to add a picture that is related to the whole piano.
